New European Travel Regulations
The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is an innovative electronic system being introduced to enhance the security and efficiency of travel within the European Union. ETIAS aims to facilitate entry for non-EU citizens travelling to the Schengen Area while ensuring the highest standards of security and border management.
ETIAS is NOT a visa. It is a travel authorisation required by passport holders who already have visa-free entry to the Schengen Area. Dual citizens who have a European Union passport do not need to go through the ETIAS process.
